IN THE DOGHOUSE:

THE EXECUTION OF DOSTOEVSY

By Michael A. Smith

Jan. 18 – Feb. 3, 2007

The world premiere of a commissioned work, by Chatham County playwright Michael A. Smith, is equal parts Harold Lloyd/Charlie Chaplin slapstick and Dr. Zhivago melodrama.

Will our intrepid anti-hero, Fyodor Dostoevsky, dodge his landlady, find young love, evade the secret police, win civil rights for the peasantry, and deliver the latest chapters of his masterpiece?
