Little Green Pig rediscovers this “lost production” by America’s groundbreaking experimental theatre company. The Wooster Group produced Kate Valk, Willem Dafoe, Spalding Gray and Elizabeth LeCompte through an uncompromising method of deconstruction and transgression that laid the foundation for experimentation in art theaters across the world. Their abandoned work on The Diary of a Young Girl is a refracted, thrilling meditation on puberty, genocide and group dynamics.
